Some times you may encounter difficulties in looking for a merchant sites or an affiliate sites for a products or services   that would fit on what you are looking for.  And the tendecy is that you are heading on a wrong sites or the what you call an irrelevant sites. You already visited the affiliate networks and directories and still you can’t find.  There are many ways on how to search the net for merchant sites through an affiliate progarms.  Here’s a search technique that can help you to locate exactly on what you are looking for.

You go to Google and in the search box you type the key words for what you are looking for put a plus sign to be more specific searching.  For example, you are looking for an affiliate of a Barbie Doll. So you type  “Barbie+doll+affiliate ‘ on the search box. Quotes not included. Those plus signs will indicate that each word entered appears on the pages in your search results. Some of the sites given may be affiliates themselves, but when you look around their site will give you clues to the identity of the merchant. The other sites will in fact be merchant sites that are returned by your search. That technique (adding plus signs on your keywords in searching) can be used in every time you are searching on whatever sites you want. That is the fastest way to be on your desired sites. Another way is that using an affiliate progarm directories. This is the best used in finding merchants that have stand-alone or what e call “in-house” programs which are not associated with the big affiliate networks.

Although there are hundreds of affiliate program directories, here are the two most worth visiting:

AssociatePrograms.com

Approaching 6,000 program listings, AssociatePrograms.com offers the most comprehensive list

of affiliate programs anywhere on the Net. The site is easy to use, and listings appear

alphabetically in the search results, making it easier to locate programs again later.

Refer-it.com

A division of Internet.com, I really like the associate program rating structure and criteria offered

by Refer-it.com. The listings are perhaps a little more detailed than at AssociatePrograms.com

and include the launch date and number of affiliates.

And that is the technique on how to get faster on your  Merchant sites… One way is adding a Plus sign (+) on your key word.
