My Home SweeT HoMe

People described our family in a two common words, that is, we are a big and happy family. And that is definitely true. We are 10 members of the family and 12 all in all including my parents.

Rene Calamba Dapiton is my mother, a business woman who is willing to do everything just for us to have a better life every day. They say that my mother is a kind of boyish; she can do what a boy does just like riding motorcycle and car every day, doing carpentry, painting some part of our house, etc. She is one of a kind mother to us, she completes us.

My father’s name is Sulpicio Rana Dapiton, he is a DMPI (Del Monte Philippines Incorporated) employee. He is a kind of man that wants everything to be clean and proper. He easily got angry when he doesn’t like the looks of our surroundings. He is very strict and a loving father to us.

Together they found an everlasting love that blooms into such a wonderful relationship. They built our family into such a wonderful one and strive hard to have our own house and decorate it with LOVE and JOY. They face the ups and downs as a couple and leave with a strong faith in God. And they completed my life including my brothers and sisters. Let me introduced them to you!

With so much faith of my parents, God gave them Cherry the eldest of the family.  She is such a wonderful blessings to us, she is now helping us in financial aspect. She is an IIT alumnus.

Then Evangeline came, the 2nd child of the family, born with angelic face with strong features.

My two sisters were so happy when the 3rd child Mercy was born.  Now she is a Civil Engineer.

After a first three girls, my parents are dreaming of a Boy. . .

Years after, they are granted with 4th child and were named after of the head Sulpicio jr. Many say that he is the black sheep of the family.  And now is happily married & with 4 children’s, and being a father now, he learned a lot from his childhood years.

And the fifth child Kert Michael who is now the right hand of my mother in handling our business.

With him in the family, he brings out the enjoyment and we give him special attention and care.

We grow lovingly and our parents taught us good values especially our mother who inculcates the word of Jehovah God.

The family is so happy for the arrival of the 6th new member of the family named Alora. She grows up active and determined. She is now 4th yr in College at Bukidnon State University taking up BS- Mathematics.

A year after, my mother gave birth to me, as the 7th child of our family.  – Azalia. And that’s me!

Year after again I was followed with Lemuel. The silent type, but when its angry.. You have the right to remain silent and keep your mouth shut! We’re the best friends of the family.

And another two handsome boys . . . .

Jason, the 9th child of the family. The independent man, who do his school assignments alone and get annoyed when teased by our youngest – sensitive as described.

Our cow’s was name is Rensul; Our Motorela named Rensul…..

And  here comes the youngest of our family… Rensul, it was named after of those above.. . . The name is the combination of my mother & father’s name, Rene & Sulpicio. . .  And that’s the complete Dapiton Family!

We look out each other while our father is working to feed the family and the mother managed our own business. While our family is continue to grow, my parents also strive hard to provide our needs. But above all they continue to give us the LOVE we needed.

We are currently residing at Dicklum Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon where the largest pineapple plantation in the Philippines is. And where my father work and earned for our living. My father is strict… So, from school, I and other member of the family went home straight so we can still help in the family chores and watched our younger brothers. Since the income of my parents is only enough for the needs of the family, they can’t give us a Nanny who will looked the children while they are working, so … at the early age we are taught the household chores (washing clothes & even cooking), prepare ourselves for school and even to take care of each other when members of the family is not in good condition. We have to look out each other while our parents are working.

I am in deed very proud of my family!!
